As Outreach Director and founding executive team member of Fashion Panel at the University of Mississippi, I helped build the organization from the ground up during its inaugural year in 2025. I led all outreach efforts — forming partnerships, connecting with campus organizations, and securing the relationships that made our vision possible. Together, we brought the first collegiate runway show in Ole Miss history to life, which was a milestone not just for the organization but for the university's creative community as a whole.
Being part of a founding team taught me things no classroom could. I learned how to operate without a blueprint, make decisions under pressure, and rally people around an idea that didn't exist yet. Managing outreach meant I was constantly communicating, pitching, and problem-solving — and doing it all while the organization was still figuring out what it was. That experience sharpened my ability to lead with clarity in uncertain situations and showed me how much can be built when the right people are committed to the same goal.
Continuing on as Secretary in 2026, I carried those lessons into a new role — supporting the structure of an organization I was proud to have helped found.
